Joseph Eastburn Winner (1837-1918) was an American composer and music publisher. This collection consists of a lyric sheet for his Contraband's Song of Freedom, an American Civil War song dealing with African Americans and slavery, dated 1865.

Copies of letters and papers concerning the "Affaire Carrouges," a Surrealist controversy also called the "Affaire Pastoureau"

Abstract

This collection contains copies of seven documents created in the 1950s concerning the Surrealist turmoil originating from the ‘Affaire Carrouges’. In 1951, a conflict between Surrealists Henri Pastoureau and Michel Carrouges due to a disagreement about religion resulted in the fracturing of the French Surrealist movement for three months. There is representation from both sides of the conflict in this collection.

Cornell Prison Education Program literary journals: Writer's Bloc and Bridges

This collection contains twelve issues of Writer's Bloc from Fall 2009 to Spring 2021. The collection also contains the Spring 2012 issue of Bridges. Both publications feature poetry, prose, artwork, and other creative writing by students enrolled in the Cornell Prison Education Program. The issue of Bridges also features pieces by students enrolled at Cornell University.

Corporal Bernard E. Rabinowitz papers

The collection consists of 399 letters written from Corporal Bernard E. Rabinowitz (179th Infantry Band)to his family in Baltimore, MD. The letters are dated from 1942-1945 and were sent from US bases, Sicily, North Africa, France, and Italy. This collection gives a first-hand account of one soldier's experiences during World War II. There are 230 letters, 140 V-mail, and 29 postcards.

Corporate-produced menstruation information booklets

This collection consists of menstrual information booklets produced by sanitary product and cosmetic/pharmaceutical companies between 1933 and 1969. The majority of the booklets were produced by the Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Johnson & Johnson to advertise menstrual products and provide information about menstruation, reproductive health, and feminine hygiene.

Abstract Starting in the spring of 1915, during World War I, some women in unoccupied France volunteered for the role of "war godmothers," marraines de guerre. To provide the moral support these men, so-called "war orphans," could not receive from their families, women in unoccupied areas became their pen pals. The Course Guide is a student publication which provides information on undergraduate courses. In 1999, after being absent for several years, the Course Guide returned, entitled the ACE (Academic Course Evaluation) Guide. This record group is made up solely of issues of The Course Guide from 1966 to 2006; several issues are missing, however. No other records pertaining to the publication, such as correspondence, are extant.

The Board of Trustees established the "Committee to Study the Structure, Organization and Functions of the Board of Trustees and to Consider Possible Amendments to the Charter of the University" under the chairmanship of Howard Bruce, a Trustee of the University from 1947 to 1953. The records of the Survey of the Activities on the Homewood Campus, conducted by the management engineering firm Cresap, McCormick and Paget, consist of one report produced by that firm.
